An avid pilot for nearly 40 years, Mike is on a mission to serve — whether that’s helping people retire or flying sick kiddos to a children's hospital.

Hundreds of clients throughout the Rockies consider Mike their trusted co-pilot, helping them prepare for a landing in retirement, even in a challenging market environment. A financial advisor for close to 40 years, Mike earned his certified financial planner™ designation in 2002 and can offer investment and insurance products and services.

“At heart, I’m a teacher,” Mike says. “I want my clients to feel seen and heard — not herded toward a certain product.”

He also wants clients to understand his investment in their well-being: “It’s your money,” Mike tells clients, “but your financial strategy is our problem to solve, and we’re going to solve it together.”

Mike and his wife, Renee, have been married for over 30 years and enjoy spending time with their three adult children and six grandchildren. In his free time, Mike enjoys flying, camping, fishing, sailing and motorcycle riding.

What’s more, Mike is a longtime volunteer for Pilots for Christ-Wyoming and uses his Piper Twin Comanche to fly children and adults in need of transportation to medical specialists across the country.

“You wouldn’t want to fly somewhere without a clear flight plan,” Mike says. “The same goes for your retirement plan.”
